When five superhero teens are hauled into detention at their secret training academy, they have to work together to stop the sinister Kaelus from stealing all the students' powers. Super Detention was AMAZING. Honestly, the best part was the extras. They played an EXTREMELY vital role in the whole process of the film, especially the extra with the freckles and the barrette. You could tell she was going somewhere. Special effects were amazing. Concept was interesting that's all I say. Also the blue werewolf did not look at all like Lunam after transformation. That was bullshit. All I have to say is the extras = winning. SUPER DETENTION is a low budget superhero/comedy/drama made on an indie scale. Plot-wise, it's a straight-up rip-off of THE BREAKFAST CLUB, mixed with some X-MEN style superhero antics. Basically a group of kids get held in detention and end up using their super powers on each other. The problem with all this is that the acting is very stilted and the film is deeply unfunny; only the CGI effects impress.
